January 2009 - pictures and story
On January, after 9 years of working without a break... I had a 3 weeks break. Luckily, my good friend Eleonora (Eli) was also on a job-break with me, and we went to explore the city together (finally).

Defiance
My grandfather was only 13 years old when the Nazies and their helpers attacked his villege in Belorussia and killed 99% of my family and his villege.
After this, instead of going to school, playing with friends, and imagining what he will do as a grown up, my grandfather was living in the woods, trying to survive from one day to the other. As a part of his survival efforts, he joined the Bielskies and inside the group, he joined the fighters. He wasn't with them all the time because he was afraid of being a part of a big group, but he did find a shalter there, which definately helped him survive the 4 years of death horror.
When I was 12 years old, my grandparents took me to Belarussia to see everything.
I saw the villeges and the forests and I have many stories from there.
One view that is burned inside my head is the long-long rows of short green hills.
